Wotton-Under-Edge Exhibition

Over the weekend of the 21-23 October 2005, the NNRT presented an exhibition of photographs, videos and articles at the Wotton-Under-Edge Civic Centre.  Members Matt Bigwood and John Anyon hosted the event which had an excellent attendance.

Over the two days, many members of the public visited and were able to gain first hand accounts of the work the Charity is performing in Mina-1-Mai.  These were supported by the excellent range of photographs and videos which depicted the mixture of emotions, sadness and joy encountered.  They also gave an excellent insight into the projects performed by the Charity.

As well as expanding the profile of the Charity, £750 was made towards helping our friends in Romania.  In addition to this, a guest who visited the preview on Friday night donated another £1000 from his Business to our cause.  We salute his generosity, plus a big thank you to all others who donated during the subsequent two days.
